In response to continued growth and to further strengthen RSK as an evolving business, we are looking to recruit an individual to work in the M&A team at Manager level with a focus on the Chilean and Peruvian market. This is a critical hire and will allow entrepreneurially minded individuals exposure to the key stakeholders of the business in assisting decision-making and adding value through expertise.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week, which can be home-based. Travel overseas may also be required from time to time.

RSK has demonstrated remarkable expansion through its dynamic acquisition strategy, averaging around 25 company acquisitions per year over the last four years. The group is poised to continue this impressive pace until at least 2030, ensuring growth and global reach in markets like Chile, with significant emphasis on integrating cutting-edge technologies such as AI into its operations.

Development of our business in Chile is a top priority for RSK Group. This role will provide direct access to RSK Board members who are spearheading this work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an integral part of the M&A team (currently based in the UK and Australia), assist the team with the day-to-day management of transactions and assignments
  • Liaise and meet with potential acquisition targets and their brokers
  • Develop RSK’s referral network across the Chilean and Peruvian market
  • Review information memorandums and financial information, analysing and preparing financial tables & graphs and offer workbooks used in transaction negotiations
  • Support market research and business development activities of the senior team to assist in finding new opportunities based upon transaction briefs and profiles
  • Prepare offers to acquire businesses working closely with the senior M&A team and Divisional Directors
  • Help to manage vendors and internal teams to ensure a smooth transaction process
  • Support the senior M&A team in the negotiation of offers to Heads of Terms

RSK is also leveraging AI-based tools in its M&A processes to streamline due diligence, enhance financial assessments, and integrate predictive analytics for identifying high-value targets. Candidates will have opportunities to work with and learn from these innovative technologies.

Person Specification:

  • A recognised professional accounting or finance qualification
  • Previous proven experience of business finance, M&A, Corporate Finance or another relevant skill set;
  • Full professional language proficiency in Spanish / native and English. Sufficient English skills to communicate with colleagues within the international RSK Group and if non native C1 or C2 level proficiency in English. Other European languages will be valued.
  • Leadership roles and extracurricular activities such as voluntary work, sporting attainment, musical accomplishment, and entrepreneurial interests
  • Strong financial acumen and an appreciation of valuation methodologies (profit multiples, DCF) and other project appraisal techniques including fluency with Excel and analytical & data gathering
  • Experience of working in fast-moving environments providing accurate and timely information to a high standard
  • Experience of analysing unlisted businesses
  • The ability to successfully work collaboratively and influence at all levels in the business
  • General IT proficiency and understanding of MS Office Applications
  • Ability to roll sleeves up as required with an energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • High degree of communication and organisational skills; and
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
